Do you know what's really in your water?

"Acceptable" levels of contaminants in water are not safe.
The presence of any of these contaminants poses a serious health threat to you and your family.

A tsunami of toxins is coming

Just like the leading edge of a tsunami, a wave of toxins are coming. These toxins are absorbed into the ground and are making their way into our tap water. If we don't protect ourselves, these toxins will make their way into our homes.

Legally, water companies are allowed a certain amount of toxins in the water they provide or sell. But, just because the toxin leves are legal, they are not safe by any means.

Trihalomethane

Trihalomethane is a byproduct of chloriation in tap water. Chlorine is added to tap water as a cheap way to sanatize it - much like pools do. In the late 1800s when they first started to use chlorine to treat water they had no idea how it would affect the human body. The EPA and FDA didn't even exist yet. Today, however, with a over a century of scientific research we cannot continue to ignore the evidence that chlorine is harmful.

Trihalomethanes are considered by the EPA to be probable human carcinogens and studies have linked them to bladder cancer, birth defects and miscarriages.

Yet, despite all the evidence that chlorine is harmful, it is still used simply because it is the cheapest way to kill microorganisms in tap water. Chlorine is to whater what asbestos was to insulation and it's not safe to drink - and it's not safe to bathe in, either.

Water softening chemicals

85% of the United States has excessive levels of calcium and magnesium dissolved into ground and surface water - in fact, "hard water" comes from the fact that it was hard to clean with that water. In order to make this water work in your home, your soaps and detergents are nearly 100% chemical water softeners.

These toxic chemical water softeners are "pain killers" for inorganic calcium and magnesium. Sodium carbonates and silicates are the major ingredients in almost all soaps, detergents, shampoos and body washes.

What is Enevive doing about this?

Through our research, we are striving to make positive change in the laws that allow for these toxins. By conducting bias-free research into the quality of water around us, we can know what is really in our water and can use that information to push for better water legislation.

In our research, we have found effective and efficient ways to improve water while removing toxins as well as calcium and magnesium from water. We work with families to help them find the best way to protect their homes from these water toxins.

What can I do?

The most important thing to do is have your water tested. This will let you know exactly what you are getting through your tap. Enevive will come out to your house, free of charge, and test your water if you would like. You can Request an appointment online.

Once you know what you're getting through your water, then you can take that information and use it to find the best solutions for your home's water. If you would like, Enevive can help you find the best way to protect your families from these toxins.
